"Incredible to Work With!"
“Matt was incredible to work with. Not only was he super fast, he was very responsive anytime we had a question or design idea. He listened to what we wanted and had great input as to our design and marketing. Matt also continues to monitor our new website and helps us continually improve our marketing and internet ranking.”

Why a Redesign?
Your Business Has Grown.
Has your business and its services expanded since launch?
When a website is first built it will usually have your full suite of services. However as time passes and your business grows, the website can be left stagnant without updating your customers about your new offers.
Adding new service pages, online delivery, or the ability to sell your products directly from your website are all just a redesign away.
Before and After Website Optimization (Stowe Builder)
You Have Three Seconds.
53% of users will leave a website if it takes longer than 3 seconds to load.
You could be losing over half your leads if your website isn’t optimized for today’s consumer. Performance doesn’t just impact your visitors, it’s also a search engine ranking factor—slow websites don’t rank well in search engines like Google.
Outdated Tech & Practices .
Everyone notices when a website looks and feels old.
Have you ever gone to a website only to find that it looks as if it’s been kept in a time capsule? It’s very noticeable; even more so on mobile devices. Let’s face it—outdated website’s don’t earn trust.
As time passes the tech used to build websites evolves while design trends ebb and flow. Because of this, it’s necessary to keep your website looking its best and functioning the way it was intended.

How Does a Website Redesign Work?
A Look Under the Hood
Your current website will under go an in-depth audit as will your competitor’s sites. From the information we gain a new plan of action will be formed.
We’ll learn what’s working, what should be changed, and how best to position your business online.
Updating Your Business' Goals
If your business has grown and your goals have changed, your website redesign will be built to move you closer to them.
Using Data to Determine a Best Course of Action
If your old website has been gathering Analytics, we’ll have a very clear path forward. If you don’t have this data, that’s okay too—we can begin gathering it while your redesign is in development.
Remapping User Flow & Site Organization
Frustrating website design and layouts cause your visitors to leave. The way people use websites has changed and it’s important to organize and build yours in a way that’s expected.
Your new sitemap and layout will be intuitive and easy for your customers to navigate.
Rebuilding Your New Website
Building a redesigned website tends to move quicker than a website built from the ground up since you already have the basics, some images, and content.
When we talk about your project in the discovery phase, I’ll be able to give you an estimated timeline to completion.
After your redesigned website has launched we’ll continue to track its effectiveness with real world data.
Your new website will be built to grow with your business. Any adjustments and additions can easily be added down the road to further improve your search engine optimization and user experience.

Why Work with MSD?
An Ongoing Asset
On average my clients have been with me for 5 years or longer. This isn’t because they’re under contract, it’s because they enjoy the benefits of working with me and our ongoing success together.
Real World Results
I’m proud of my clients growth and accomplishments and would love to discuss how I’m able to help your business. For examples of what I can do for you, take a look at my Case Studies.
Analytic Data, Not Guesswork
Real world data is used to create your designs and build your website. This allows us to form a better understanding of your market and leads to an end product that attracts your ideal customer.
No Unnecessary Jargon
Jargon can be confusing, especially when it comes to web design. This makes choosing the right designer more difficult as it’s often used to impress rather than inform. I try to steer clear of tech jargon – unless you want the nitty-gritty.
Your Return on Investment
When I take on a client one of the factors taken into consideration is whether you’ll make a return on your investment. This balance keeps both my clients and myself happy.
Education & Empowerment
When needed, you’ll be provided training videos and documentation for you and your staff so you can hit the ground running from the word “Go”.
Web Redesign F.A.Q.
Yes it will. Your newly redesigned website will be developed on one of my own dev servers. This way your website won’t experience any downtime and we’ll be able to seamlessly swap the old version out for the new website when it’s ready.
If you’re currently using Google Analytics to monitor your website’s traffic we compare several different data points to determine the boost in traffic, time on site, goal completions and more.
If you’re not using any analytic tracking on your site, it’s never too late to start! I’ll help you set up tracking before beginning your redesign so we’ll have a little data for the comparison.
Overall, one of the best ways to see how well the new site is performing will be the increased leads, calls, and visitors to your website.
You bet! I offer Website Care Plans that ensures your website remains up-to-date, backed up, and secure. You also have three 30 minute tasks allotted each month for updates and changes.
Even if you want to handle everything yourself but feel stuck at any point, reach out and ask – I’m always happy to help where I can.
Of course! We’ll work together to hone in on how your brand will be represented online through a 4 step process from conception to launch. Using this process helps to define and support your website’s message. My clients trust that I’m able to translate this into an engaging design that uses best practices and standards, but I’ll always proof these designs with you before we fully implement them on the website.
I’ve found from experience redesigns often need updated or new copywriting.
Many of my clients opt to deliver their own copywriting and images with my guidance, however, if that doesn’t sound like something you’d like to do I have close connections with outstanding copywriters and photographers I can connect you with.
Ooof, that’s a big NO WAY! From the proposal stage onward you’ll know exactly what your invoice will be. I charge by the project, not hourly, so the amount you see in the proposal is the price you’ll pay.
The only exception to this would be a shift in the scope of work we agree upon before beginning the project. If there’s more pages, more functionality, or a large shift in the website’s structure, these will most likely increase the cost – but you’ll be notified and I won’t start before it’s been approved by you.
Nope! Every website I build is done by me or someone on my regular team.
All my website builds include on page SEO created using best practices along with off-site optimizations if you’re hosting your site on my servers. Your site will include proper H-tags, alt images, meta descriptions, sitemaps, image optimization, and more.
Historically, the sites I launch rank higher than their previous iterations.
You bet! Your website will adapt to fit screens of all sizes, from mobile phones to wide desktop monitors.
Not only that, but your visitors experience can be tailored to the device they’re using, time of day they’re visiting, location, and much more. For example; what would be a button leading to your contact form when viewed on a desktop PC can change to a button that automatically calls your business phone if viewed on a cell phone.
